Services  /  Optimisation

Get the value you're already paying for.

Optimisation is for firms who already have the right technology, but want to keep improving - or need a clear-eyed review of how they do things.

We find what's underused or has drifted over time and tune your processes so the stack earns its keep. For Partners and Practice Managers, it's the lowest-risk way to get more out of what the firm has already bought.

The Health Check

Start by knowing where you're at.

A Health Check is how we establish your baseline - where you're at today across the platforms you run and how your team uses them. It sets the agenda for improvement over at least your first two quarters: a prioritised, agreed plan of what to change, and in what order.

What it gives you

A clear baseline: where you're at today, and where value is quietly leaking The improvements that matter most, ranked by impact on your day An agreed agenda for your next two quarters - not a report that gathers dust
How it works

From underused to indispensable.

01

Health check

A clear-eyed review of the platforms you run and how your team uses them.

02

Prioritise

We rank the fixes by impact, so effort goes where it changes your day first.

03

Refine

We make incremental improvements - configuration, automation, process - without a disruptive rebuild.

04

Keep current

As platforms release changes, we keep your set-up sharp so value doesn't quietly erode.

75% average reduction in workflow management time

Small, compounding improvements to the tools you already own - often a bigger return than buying something new.

Common questions

We already have the software - why do we need you?+

Because owning a platform and extracting its value are different things. Most set-ups drift as firms grow and staff change. We find the gap between what you're paying for and what you're using, and close it.

How long does an optimisation engagement take?+

It depends on scope, but we work in focused, prioritised passes so you see improvement continuously rather than waiting for one big reveal at the end.

Do we need to change platforms?+

Rarely. Optimisation is about getting more from what you have. If a platform genuinely can't do the job we'll say so - but that's the exception, not the pitch.

How do we know if we are paying for software we do not use?+

Start with licence count against headcount, then the feature list against what the team actually opens in a week. Most firms find at least one platform where they sit on a tier above what they use, and at least one capability they are paying a second vendor to duplicate. A stack review puts numbers on both - what is underused, what overlaps, and what the firm would gain by switching something on rather than buying something new.
